Rega

Rega has been designing and building hi-fi in Southend-on-Sea, England since 1973. Founded by Roy Gandy with a relentless focus on musical performance over specifications, Rega builds turntables, amplifiers, phono stages, and speakers that consistently punch far above their price point.

What makes Rega different is their vertically integrated manufacturing — everything from tonearms to circuit boards to plinths is designed and built in-house at their Essex factory. This control over every detail allows Rega to deliver extraordinary value at every level, from the entry-level Planar 2 through the reference Naia turntable.

Rega doesn't chase trends or add unnecessary features. They focus on getting the fundamentals right — low mass, high rigidity, minimal energy storage — and the result is components that make music sound alive, engaging, and utterly addictive.
