Audio Research D-80 Power Amplifier

The D-80 carries forward the "D" designation Audio Research has used going back to the brand's early high-performance amplifier line, built from the Reference 80S platform with more economical component choices.

It is a full pentode design with a pair of KT150 tubes per channel, fully balanced and differential, with auto-bias and balanced XLR-only inputs.

It is built and individually auditioned at Audio Research's Minnesota facility.
