Boulder 812 DAC Preamplifier

The 812 is Boulder's first headphone amplifier, combining a DAC, preamplifier, and headphone amp in one chassis and applying the design philosophy of the 866 along with Boulder's experience designing DACs and amplifier circuits.

Its headphone circuit supports four connector types, including a 4-pin balanced output, and it functions as a Roon endpoint with UPnP and AirPlay support.

It uses a 100dB optically encoded volume control, with every circuit board and piece of metalwork produced in-house.
