DeVore Fidelity O/Reference Loudspeakers

The O/Reference is the flagship of DeVore Fidelity's Orangutan series, developed over roughly a decade of exploring the design's performance limits rather than market demand.

It splits the lowest octave into a separate bass module so the main two-way cabinet can stay simple and easy to drive, with the module's passive radiator naturally tuned below 20Hz rather than extended with equalization, for a seamless blend with the main cabinets.

The 10-inch paper-cone woofer uses an Alnico magnet motor with copper Faraday rings and a titanium former, and the tweeter and supertweeter are horn-loaded through cast bronze horns; the bronze and brass parts are decoupled from the cabinet to reduce vibration.

It is offered in a 4-piece configuration with dual bass modules or the 3-piece O/Reference 3 with a single, mono-summed bass module.
