Dynavector XV Prima Phono Cartridge

Dynavector positions the XV Prima as the prime realization of its XV philosophy, built as a destination rather than a stepping stone to something higher, and the successor to the DRT XV-1s.

Its design resolves the tension between exposing the magnetic circuit for sound quality and enclosing it for usability through an inverted-V body shape in hybrid precision-machined aluminum and African ebony, chosen for its density, uniform structure, and natural damping.

It is the first Dynavector cartridge to apply the brand's Special Annealing Process to all eight of its Alnico magnets, paired with a redesigned square-aperture Flux Damper armature that gives each coil its own magnetic path to eliminate cross-interference.

Moving coil design with no field-replaceable stylus; a worn cartridge is sent back to Dynavector or the distributor for a full rebuild rather than a stylus swap.
