Dynavector XX-2A Phono Cartridge

The XX-2A continues what Dynavector calls its ongoing quest for better magnetic circuits, alongside the XX-2 II.

It uses Dynavector's Flux Damper, a closing coil wrapped on the front yoke that stabilizes flux disturbance from cantilever and coil vibration to reduce intermodulation distortion, combined with Alnico magnets chosen over rare-earth types for lower magnetic resistance and fewer flux fluctuations, on a pure iron core given Dynavector's specialized annealing process to restore its crystalline structure and permeability.

Low output only.

Moving coil design with no field-replaceable stylus; a worn cartridge is sent back to Dynavector or the distributor for a full rebuild rather than a stylus swap.
