Hana SH MK II Phono Cartridge

The SL MK II and SH MK II update Hana's globally best-selling S Series, designed by Masao Okada to improve on the original's musical performance and value.

They use a new tapered aluminum cantilever with increased rigidity and reduced tip mass for better signal transfer from the groove, with a body reshaped on the M Series' non-resonant form, finished in a matte elastomeric resin with a brass cap; the yoke, pole pieces, and gold terminal pins are cryogenically treated for a more natural sound.

High output version, no step-up transformer required.

Moving coil design with no field-replaceable stylus; a worn cartridge is sent to a third-party retip service rather than swapped like a moving magnet stylus.
