HRS S3 Isolation Base

HRS designed the S3 to sit between the R3X and the M3X2, aiming for more of the M3X2's performance at the R3X's more cost-effective price.

It uses a seven-material construction with a proprietary resonance-control stage: billet-machined aircraft aluminum trim surrounding a plinth built from vacuum-laminated, alternating layers of high-density fabric-reinforced resin and non-magnetic stainless steel plates, around a decoupled mass energy-dissipation core.
