Lyra Delos Phono Cartridge

The Delos is Lyra's entry point into its moving coil range. Lyra built it around a specific engineering problem it identifies in conventional moving coil cartridges: the angles between the magnetic circuit, signal coils, and core only align when no tracking force is applied, meaning they are misaligned during actual playback.

Delos addresses this with a new body structure set at an unusually shallow angle, combined with an asymmetrical damping system, to keep those elements aligned while the stylus is tracking a groove. It uses a non-parallel, solid machined anodized aluminum body, a Namiki microridge line-contact nude diamond stylus on a solid boron cantilever with a short one-point wire suspension, and nude 6N high-purity copper coils.

No field-replaceable stylus; a worn cartridge is returned to the Lyra factory in Japan for a full internal rebuild, or traded in under Lyra's exchange/upgrade program, rather than fitted with a swappable stylus.
