Lyra Kleos Phono Cartridge
Lyra calls the Kleos the lowest-cost cartridge in its range to use the full Ogura-manufactured boron cantilever and coil system along with Lyra's own line-contact stylus, extracting more information from the groove than the Delos below it.
It uses a one-piece machined solid 7075 alloy billet body with a nickel-plated duraluminum finish, a solid boron rod cantilever with a short one-point wire suspension, and a Lyra-designed, long-footprint, variable-radius line-contact nude diamond stylus. Each cartridge is hand-built and individually voiced by a master cartridge builder, a process Lyra likens to instrument-making.
No field-replaceable stylus; a worn cartridge is returned to the Lyra factory in Japan for a full internal rebuild, or traded in under Lyra's exchange/upgrade program, rather than fitted with a swappable stylus.
