Moon 341 Integrated Amplifier
The 341 is an all-analog integrated amplifier from Simaudio's Moon Compass Collection. Simaudio describes it as combining a fully balanced analog preamplifier, a high-current Class AB power amplifier and a configurable phono stage in a single chassis. It is rated at 100W per channel into 8 ohms and 200W per channel into 4 ohms, with a damping factor of 425.
The preamplifier section has four RCA inputs, one of them a dedicated phono input, and one balanced XLR input. The phono stage is set up through the on-screen menu for a range of MM and MC cartridges. The power amplifier uses Moon Distortion-Cancelling Amplifier (MDCA) technology with proprietary bipolar transistors, and the 800W Moon Hybrid Power (MHP) supply includes active power factor correction.
The 341 has a 6.75 inch graphical display, two Ethernet ports for MOONLink connectivity and a USB service port for offline firmware updates. It is supplied with the aluminum CRM-4 infrared remote and is compatible with the BRM-1 Bluetooth remote, which is sold separately. The chassis is black, with black or silver bead-blasted aluminum cheeks.
