Wilson Audio Acoustic Diode

Acoustic Diode, nicknamed the AD Spike internally, builds on the research behind Pedestal and uses V-Material as what Wilson calls a superior constrained layer damping composite.

Speaker mass concentrates on a small spike tip to block vibration from traveling upward, while the spike itself is separated from its threaded post so energy has to dissipate through the V-Material or footer housing rather than passing straight through.
