McIntosh MC2.1KW Monoblock Power Amplifier

McIntosh's reference monoblock, built as a three-chassis system: one Output Module plus two 1,000-watt Power Modules. McIntosh splits each module to over 120 lbs rather than building a single 400-lb chassis, which also lets the amplifier run on standard household outlets instead of specialized high-voltage wiring. The signal is split into in-phase and out-of-phase components, sent to each Power Module, then recombined in the Output Module through a bi-filar wound Autoformer that sums the power while canceling noise.
