McIntosh MC462 Power Amplifier

The top of McIntosh's conventional stereo amplifier range, replacing the MC452 as its most powerful two-channel amp in a single chassis. A dedicated Autoformer per channel and Quad Balanced circuitry cancel virtually all noise and distortion, and 50 percent more filter capacitance than its predecessor gives 66 percent more dynamic headroom, from 1.8dB to 3.0dB.
